In summer, Colfosco fascinates with a variety of landscapes that range from wildflower meadows stretching out towards Pisciadù waterfalls to the rocky walls of Sella and the austere peaks of Cir, Ciampac and Sassongher, making part of the Puez-Geisler Nature Park. The best way to explore their beauty is to follow one of the numerous hiking paths or to tackle by road bike, mountain bike or e-bike the famous passes of the Dolomites or the exciting Sellaronda MTB track tour. The via ferrata Brigata Tridentina, just a few minutes away from Colfosco, is a real must for those who have climbing experience and the right physical preparation for a three-hour ascent. The fans of paragliding and hang gliding will also find in the surroundings different take-off spots for an unforgettable flight over the Dolomites.
Winter
From Sellaronda to snowshoeing
Skiers in Colfosco can count on kilometres of perfectly prepared slopes, making part of the legendary Sellaronda circuit and of the giant Dolomiti Superski area. For a truly exciting experience, just alternate a day on the slopes with a thrilling off-piste run in the powder snow of Val Mezdì. Or venture into the Nature Park Puez-Geisler with a ski mountaineering tour. And those who prefer more tranquil activities, can discover, through winter trekking or snowshoeing, the charm of mountain nature peacefully sleeping under a soft snow blanket. And after a ski run or a snowshoe hike, it's a real pleasure to explore the local gastronomy in numerous mountain restaurants nestled on the slopes of the imposing Dolomites.

The village of Colfosco has always been among the most popular family destinations in the Dolomites. In summer, its secret lies in easy and gentle trails, surrounded by the stunning Dolomites and suitable even for prams and strollers. The pine park of Colfosco, located next to Carla Apartments, features a nice playground and hosts various outdoor events for the whole family. In close proximity, there are the Animal Park and the Adventure Park of Colfosco, that inevitably excite every single child. While in winter, Colfosco features ideal conditions for the first approach to Alpine skiing: large spaces, easy and sunny slopes and lots of highly qualified ski instructors – the new office of the Ski School of Colfosco and the school slope are just a stone's throw away from Carla Apartments.
